Here are three wonderful 1930s-1940s school pins for the collector. The first, "B 37" has blue and white enamel and is made of gold tone metal with elegant flourish designs around the B and that classic ART DECO background for the 37. It is marked "J O Pollack Co Chicago" and measures ¼" long by 3/8" wide (B) and 3/8" long by 1/8" wide (37) with a 2" chain in between. The second pin, from Halsey JHS (36), is made of 10K GOLD with a rosey hue and red and blue enameling. The only mark present is the gold mark. The third is also from Halsey JHS (44) and is made of (and marked) STERLING. Both of the Halsey pins have a ½" by 3/8" school crest with a 3/8" wide by 1/8" year and 1 ¾" long chains. All three are in excellent vintage condition, the only note I would make is some heavy tarnish to the back of the Sterling Halsey pin. From the 1930s, this terrific CZECH grapes pin boasts a variety of prong set rhinestones (open backed and foiled) with stamped metal leaves. It is made of gold tone metal, measures 1" long by 7/8" wide and is in excellent vintage condition. Here's a wonderful, articulated dancer pin that is ready to shuffle his way into your heart. Made of gold tone metal and measuring 1" long by 7/8" wide, he is decked out with multicolor rhinestones on his bell bottom trousers and light blue and black enamel on his hair, shoes and jacket. I'm told that this lovely little cross pin is a ZUNI watch holder. It is dotted with TURQUOISE cabochons in tiny saw tooth bezel settings and measures 1 1/8" by 1 1/8". It is made of silver tone metal (I have not tested it for silver) and has a small hook on the back for a watch or other dangle. It could also very easily be worn as a pendant if you so desire.
