• We accept money orders, PayPal and credit card transactions (Mastercard, Visa, American Express & Discover) in US currency ($) only.

• All items are subject to prior sale. Although we update availability of items on a daily basis, it is not always possible for the website to reflect up-to-the-minute inventory.

• Ordered items will be held out of stock for 7 days.   If payment is not received within those 7 days, items will be returned to stock (unless prior arrangements have been made).

• Connecticut residents are subject to a 6% sales tax unless you supply your resale number with your order.

• Confirmation of all emails will be sent within 48 hours of receipt.




***How to Pay for an E-mail Order***

• When paying by Credit Card there are two options:

  #1 - After you have e-mailed your order, we will get back to you with the following information:

  ~ Confirmation of availability of the items you wish to order
  ~ Total cost of your order, including shipping and insurance
  ~ The URL (web address) to a secure online form, where you can safely submit your credit card information.

  #2 - E-mail us your phone number and we will be happy to call you whenever it's convenient for you. We are also available by voicemail at 203-522-2549.

• When paying by money order or PayPal:

  Be sure to include your name and shipping information with your order.

  We will contact you with your final total.

We ship insured, First Class, Priority and Express Mail within the United States. See the table below for rates. Please note that certain larger and heavy, non-jewelry items will ship a an increased rate.

• Orders are processed and shipped on the same or next business day, Monday through Friday.

Return Policy

We have done our best to describe every piece accurately...warts and all.  If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason:

• Notify us of your intent to return by e-mail or voicemail within seven days of receipt of package.

• Merchandise should be returned using an insured shipping method. USPS Priority, Express, and 1st Class Mail are all acceptable. Please insure for the purchase price of the returned item(s) and package safely with bubble wrap, preferably in the original box. Our guidelines for packing items for return can be viewed at the Returns Page. Your return must be received in the same condition as it was sent, within fourteen days.

• A refund check (or credit if you paid by credit card or PayPal), excluding shipping, will be sent to you within two days of received return. We are also happy to arrange for exchanges or store credits upon request.

• If you are unable to meet any of the above criteria, please notify us so that special arrangements may be made. We will do everything that we can to accomodate your needs and are happy to do so.

• In cases where special arrangements have not been made, returns in violation of this policy may be assessed a restocking fee equal to 20% of the purchase price of the returned item(s).

International Orders

• We ship to the following destinations outside of the United States:
  
  Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Much of Central and South America, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
  
  If your country does not appear on this list, please send an inquiry by e-mail, as we might be able to ship to you.

• All international packages are shipped via First Class Mail International and insured with a private insurance carrier whenever possible. Because international shipping rates vary by destination country, the charges presented in our shopping cart are estimates and apply only to the countries listed above. In some cases you will be charged less than the quoted rate. You will never be charged more than the estimate. The starting rate for international shipments is $4.00.

• International customers may be subject to customs fees such as duties and taxes, as well as delays due to customs processing. As these vary by country and are completely out of our control, please contact your customs office if you have any questions.

Condition: How We Describe It

We have very high standards for the vintage and contemporary pieces that we offer for sale. Although the vast majority of our collection has been previously owned and gently used, we ensure that all stones are present and all functional parts are in good working order. We strive to make note of any and all flaws or wear issues that are present. We do our best to make our descriptions as clear as possible and fun to read too!

Below are the terms we use to describe condition and what we mean by them:

• Brand New / Pristine - We reserve this only for pieces in the most perfect of condition. Vintage pieces that have been boxed and never worn, showing no signs of age, as well as contemporary pieces that have not been worn.

• Excellent / Excellent Vintage Condition - Pieces with only the most minor of wear, that is visible only upon close inspection. Generally speaking, tiny scuffs or scratches, mostly or entirely on the back of the piece. (We also describe these pieces as "Great", "Terrific", or in "Fabulous" condition, when we're feeling more poetic. ;o)

• Very good / Very Good Vintage Condition - These pieces show slight but not overly noticeable signs of wear, such as scuffing to the finish, surface scratches or minor chips (aka 'flea bites') to glass or stone. None of these issues detract from the overall beauty.

• Good / Good Vintage Condition - More obvious signs of wear such as darkened stones, minor enamel loss, scuffs and scratches. Pieces that fall into this category are offered mainly because of their age, rarity or exceptional beauty, but because of their condition, will not appeal to everyone.
