Still a classic with plenty of dazzle, this 1940s-50s Trifari bow pin is made of heavy silver tone metal with a vermeil wash. It measures a sizeable 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/8" long and is decorated with clear rhinestones throughout. The original design patent for this pin was in rhodium plating and enamel, by Joseph Wuyts (see "American Costume Jewelry" by Carla Ginelli Brunialti and Roberto Brunialti, 1997 Mazzotta Edition, p103-104). It is in very good vintage condition with some rubbing wear to the vermeil. A few of the stones show some darkening and there has been a replacement on the lower right ribbon (see photo). Although unsigned, this gorgeous bracelet was once part of a set by Schreiner. It features a glorious grouping of rhinestones among which are clear ovals and rounds (all upside down set, with medium size open and unfoiled), dark topaz marquise and rounds (all upside down set with the marquise open backed/unfoiled) and gray rounds (set right side up with the larger stones open backed/foiled). All are prong and French prong set in silver tone metal with two bands serving as a very flexible base. It measures 7 5/8" long by 1" wide with a 2 1/4" safety chain. Marked "Nube Blanca FS Mexico", this outrageous bangle makes a statement and then some. It measures a gigantic 2 1/2" wide and 8 3/4" around the inside, it is made of papier mâché with varnished pink paint and aqua plastic cabochons. It is in good condition, with some chips and dings here and there that do not detract. I would guess that it dates to the 80s but was unable to find out anything about it. By Coro, these clip earrings feature a looped cluster of periwinkle seed beads and measure a substantial 1 1/8" in diameter. The bead cluster is glued to a gold tone filigree back and they are in excellent vintage condition. These Kramer clip earrings sport a textured, robin's egg plastic center in a coiled, gold tone rope work frame. The coils continue around the back of the earring and fan out into spokes that meet at the center of the clip.
