I couldn't resist the luscious lime and soft green of these lovely and large plastic beads with matching earrings. From the 1950s and very inexpensively made, they consist of large plastic 'puffs' with simulated crystals and gold tone frilly caps. The necklace measures 23 1/4" long including the 3" extender and 1 1/4" hook section, while the large 'puff' beads measure 1 1/2" long by 1" wide. The clip earrings measure 1 3/16" in diameter. Extra loooong and extra funky, this 54 3/4" necklace (!!!) has a spring ring clasp and plenty of room for doubling up. It features periwinkle glass beads with twisted (think coffee beans), art glass beads that are cloudy with faint fuchsia swirling. Lots of fun and in excellent vintage condition. Three graduated strands of soft blue, simulated pearls (plastic) make for a lovely and lush accent in this 1950s necklace. Measuring 21" at the shortest strand (including the 2" extender), they have silver tone metal findings and the largest of the center beads is 18mm. They are in very good vintage condition with some very minor flea bites on the center beads. Please note, the beads of the extender are slightly darker than the darkest strand and are probably not original. Still a nice shade of blue that fits in perfectly with the color scheme. Elegant and utterly exquisite, this extra long (59 1/4") strand of vintage crystals is a most gorgeous shade of aqua. A show stopping, huge bib by Gerda Lyngaard for Monies (Copenhagen). Boasting seventeen strands of luscious red beads, it measures 19 1/2" at the shortest strands and drapes down approximately 3 1/2" when worn. Since this designer is known to work only in natural materials my guess is that the beads are dyed bone. It has a Buffalo Horn hook and loop clasp (beautifully made) and is strung on filament. The metal designer's signature tag is inserted right into the horn clasp. It is in very good condition, note that there are some cracks on the inside of the clasp ends but they are natural and do not effect the stability of the necklace…nor can they be seen except upon close inspection.
