From JAPAN, this 17" necklace (shortest strand, includes 2 ¾" extender) sports three strands of graduated art glass and simulated pearl beads. The art glass beads are shaped like oblong, three-dimensional diamonds and have cloudy blue and bi-color (blue/clear) shades. The simulated pearls are rendered in metallic blue and soft metallic green colors. It has silver tone metal findings and is in excellent condition. This rich red (think red jello) necklace consists of a shorter strand (16" including 2 ¾" extender) of red glass beads, red crystals and black seed bead separators and a longer strand of red glass and red and aurora crystals. It has gold tone ends and a darker gold/copper tone metal hook marked made in WESTERN GERMANY…which leads me to believe the hook has been added. Either way a lovely piece in very good condition. Each green bead is round, but not perfectly so (as it is handmade) and there are bubbles throughout the beads and very slight color variations as well. It is in very good condition…there is a chip to one bead (at the rim of the hole) but it is intact and the chip doesn't show because the bead is colored all the way through. This unusual shaped necklace boasts a hand-knotted strand of graduated beads and measures 27" long, with the bottom beads measuring 3/4". I believe that they are simulated amber (plastic) or possibly ambroid. Each bead ranges in color from a lighter, almost citrine shade to a rich, darker hue.
