A show stopping, huge bib by GERDA LYNGAARD FOR MONIES (COPENHAGEN). Boasting seventeen strands of luscious red beads, it measures 19 ½" at the shortest strands and drapes down approximately 3 ½" when worn. Since this designer is known to work only in natural materials my guess is that the beads are dyed bone. It has a Buffalo Horn hook and loop clasp (beautifully made) and is strung on filament. The metal designer's signature tag is inserted right into the horn clasp. It is in very good condition, note that there are some cracks on the inside of the clasp ends but they are natural and do not effect the stability of the necklace…nor can they be seen except upon close inspection.
