Like the first flowers of spring, this necklace is a lovely sight. It features two frosted, clear plastic flowers that each measure 1 5/8" by 1 5/8" and dangle from a frosted plastic melon bead. These are beautifully accented by lilac glass flower beads, clear crystals and frosted clear glass seed beads. It measures 15 ¾" long and the longer dangle drops down 6". I believe that this is one of those "put together" pieces, as the clasp and glass beads are 30s-40s, while the plastic flowers and associated knot work (see photo below) are newer. Blue is a favorite of mine and even more so when represented as wonderfully as it is here in this necklace by DEAUVILLE. It is a spectacular combination of crackled, metallic and clear blue plastic beads as well as light blue, honeycomb-faceted plastic beads with blue leaves and deep blue crystal beads. Measuring 16 ½" at the shortest strand (including a 3" extender), it has silver tone metal ends/findings and the beads range from 8 to 15mm. Classic pearl (simulated) gets a little twist from clear crystal and blue glass in this 23" necklace. The center tassel drops 3 ½" and the largest of the beads, the blue glass, measures ¾" long. Here's a fun 1950s necklace with a combination of pink and black plastic beads that just pop. It measures 19" long and the black beads measure 5/8" across. Very good vintage condition with a bit of rubbing wear to some of the pink beads, giving them a frosted look. I really enjoy the combination of beads in this snazzy 29 1/8" necklace. It sports butterscotch balls in 21mm and 15mm sizes, interspersed with faceted topaz disks and dark topaz barbells. A nice, sizeable 33" long, it consists of salmon plastic beads (16mm) on a matching knotted cord, culminating with the aforementioned medallion. I love the liquid blue and soft green glass beads of this 16 ¾" necklace. The blue beads measure 14mm and have a squashed or pinched style, strung at an angle so they appear oblong. The green have a milky tone to them, not quite opaque and measure 6mm. The necklace is in very good condition overall. Upon close inspection I found a small fleabite to one of the blues, nothing that would detract. I'm unsure of the age but I do know that they're terrific! Yours for $52.00 Item#BD 1106-006 |

Made in CZECHOSLOVAKIA and still bearing its ORIGINAL paper tag, this 16 ½" necklaces consists of fiery red art glass beads (with a clear line for that flame-like look) and a scattering of pink glass separators. It is dainty, as each of the 'pill' shaped red beads are only 5/16 across, but the way the beads sit and the color combination give it a lot of interest. I couldn't resist the luscious lime and soft green of these lovely and large plastic beads with matching earrings. From the 1950s and very inexpensively made, they consist of large plastic 'puffs' with simulated crystals and gold tone frilly caps. The necklace measures 23 ¼" long including the 3" extender and 1 ¼" hook section, while the large 'puff' beads measure 1 ½" long by 1" wide. The clip earrings measure 1 3/16" in diameter. Extra loooong and extra funky, this 54 ¾" necklace (!!!) has a spring ring clasp and plenty of room for doubling up. Three graduated strands of soft blue, simulated pearls (plastic) make for a lovely and lush accent in this 1950s necklace. Measuring 21" at the shortest strand (including the 2" extender), they have silver tone metal findings and the largest of the center beads is 18mm. They are in very good vintage condition with some very minor flea bites on the center beads.
