	From the 1940's, this sewing case (marked Deposé) is made of red plastic and is hand painted with a blue tassel at the end. Measuring 5" long by 5/8" wide, the top thimble unscrews to reveal a cream colored plastic rod that has three spools of thread and is also hand painted...this also unscrews and you can store your needles within the rod. SOLD	Made in ITALY, this interesting tea strainer is not only ornate but it tells a story. At the head of the handle is a wolf, with the figures of two children beneath it…the twins raised by the wolf who grew to become the founders of Rome. Around the flourished edge of the strainer (silver tone), you will find a boat, village, house and cow at each of the cardinal points. 	Standing 2 ½" tall by 2 1/8" wide, this lovely glass match striker and holder boasts a dainty Victorian lady's shoe on top of a very large fly. Both are painted and there is some wear to the part of the shoe. There is a striking surface on three sides of the base and the top of the fly's wingsthe front of the base is embossed to read "Don't Bodder Me".
