Made by FLORENZA, this nodding poodle pin cushion is cute as can be and will look great on your dresser, sewing table, desktop or any place else you'd like to put him. Measuring 3 3/8" long by 1 ¼" wide by 1 ½" tall, he's a sturdy fellow of heavy gold tone metal with a red velvet back and a nodding head/neck attached with a springy bar of metal. In very good condition, he does have a spot of wear on the right side of his body and neck and also a ding beneath his left eye. Ahoy salty sailors and land lubbers alike! Here is a nifty nautical door knocker, made of a fairly heavy weight metal with a brass tone finish. It features a ring buoy base with an old fashioned anchor striker and measures 5 ½" long by 4 1/8" wide. This *killer* compact from the 1940's is exceptional not only for its gorgeous under-carved floral designs, or it's brilliant blue color, but also because of the great condition it's in, considering its age! Measuring 4" square, it is made of clear Lucite with a painted blue background at the center…protected underneath a beveled Lucite circle. It opens to a 90 degree angle with a 2 ½" diameter mirror on one side and 2 5/8" diameter circular basin on the other with original cloth mesh screen pad that is cream in color. It was made for the dresser top…not the purse. It was purchased with a white box in which it fits perfectly, but I'm not sure if this was the original. There is some very minor surface wear in a couple of spots from handling and the white box has some stains. As with most mirrors that have some age, it is a little cloudy with some spotting but is still reflective. A really unbelievable find for the compact or plastic collectors. Now here's something you don't see everyday! This 5" wide by 1 ¼" long comb has a very intricate case that is unusual and very well rendered. On both sides you will find an embossed rural scene of a village complete with buildings, fences, trees, dogs, and villagers during daily life. The case appears to be made of a brass tone metal with a silver tone finish that has wear in several places...on the high spots. The comb itself is made of a tortoise shell like plastic with a silver tone metal grip with embossed flourish design that fits into the holder. From the 1930's, this elegant stick pin features eight sparkling clear crystals, bezel set in silver tone metal and measures 4 3/8" long by 1 ¼" wide. Crystal center measures 2" by 1 1/4. If you're a fan of perfume bottles or just some who loves unusual picture frames, then this is the perfect decorative accent for you. Made of a deep (thick walled) tortoise-like Lucite (almost root beer with dark swirls), in the shape of a perfume bottle (square but with elongated, curved oval ends), this terrific picture frame stands 5 1/8" tall and is 4 1/8" wide by 1" thick. The picture opening is 2 ¾" long by 2 ¼" wide and has two glass sheets that slip in through a slit in the top of the frame and are held in place by the black ball cap. It is reversible, so put two pictures in and proudly display both sides. In excellent condition, it is engraved "Aiv" on the bottom, and is in excellent condition. Shabby Chic at it's best! This terrific vintage wall plaque is guaranteed to brighten up any room with its cheerfully painted flamingo and reeds. The plaque itself is a dark wood and there are some scratches, most notably in the front (top right side) and some smaller ones on the back. The flamingo is made of a heavy metal and is attached to the wood by two screws. There is wear to his paint throughout. With a glowing MOTHER OF PEARL handle and brass tone metal neck and tip, this quill type pen (quite sharp) is a testament to the quality craftsmanship of days gone by.
