Hugs and buzzz In memory of Joan Vogel Elias 1/10/2005 Absolutely Vintage was conceived as, and continues to be, the online showcase for the gorgeous vintage jewelry collected by Joan Vogel Elias. Founded in September of 1998 as a small shop in an online antiques mall, it has grown through the years to the large, independent website that you see today. Although Joan passed away early in 2005, her sense of humor and love of life, people and all things beautiful will always be reflected in Absolutely Vintage. Joan built her business on the concept that great jewelry should come with outstanding personal service and...it should always be fun. Her enthusiasm was infectious and quickly spread to those of us who knew the joy of working with her. We search near and far for vintage pieces that are beautiful and of the highest quality. Our small staff ensures that each and every order arrives with a special, personal touch. Joan wouldn't have it any other way, and neither will we!
